Jon Boardman
Ruling ElderJon Boardman has served as ruling elder at Covenant since 2006. He and his wife, Zayhra have four children and have been attending Covenant since 2001.
Jon is a native of Miami. He earned a BA in English and Communications Studies from the University of Florida, and an M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary, here in Oviedo. Jon is a teacher at Orangewood Christian School.

Jeff Brown
Ruling ElderJeff Brown grew up in Pensacola, FL and was educated at Duke University and Indiana University. He worked as a writer and editor for Civil Engineering magazine in Northern Virginia before finding his way to Oviedo in 2005 to study at Reformed Theological Seminary. During his time at RTS, Jeff, his wife Eva, and their growing family began to attend Covenant where he served as an intern. After his graduation from RTS in 2011, he continued freelance writing until he began to work for a public relations firm, Global-5 Communications, in 2015. Jeff became an elder at CPC in 2012.

Nathan Ilderton
Ruling ElderDr. Nathan Ilderton has been a ruling elder at Covenant since 2016. He and his wife, Stephanie, joined Covenant in 2011, when they were married and moved to the area. They have two sons.
Nathan is a South Carolina native. He earned a BA at Clemson University and a Ph.D at Texas A&M University. He is a professor of political science and undergraduate coordinator at the University of Central Florida, as well as faculty advisor and presbytery chairman for Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at UCF.

Ruling Elder EmeritusRon Lanphear has served as a ruling elder at Covenant for more than forty years. He and his wife, Judy have raised two children, and have been attending Covenant since 1972. Ron’s status as ruling elder emeritus was conferred to him in 2015.
Ron is a native of Miami. He earned Bachelors of Science in Engineering and Chemistry, and is retired.

Ruling Elder EmeritusDick Leigh became a ruling elder at Covenant in 1972 and moved to emeritus status after 50 years of ministry. He and his wife, Sharon, joined Covenant in 1971, when they moved to the area. They have raised two daughters.
Dick grew up in Hardy, NE. He earned a BS in Business Administration, as well as a JD at the University of Nebraska. Dick also served in the US Navy JAG Corps. He is an attorney in Winter Park.

Dan Fridsma
DeaconDan Fridsma has been a deacon at Covenant since 2021, this time, that is. He previously served as a deacon with CPC predecessor Immanuel Evangelical Presbyterian Church beginning in 1985. He and his wife, Dru, have been married since 1981 and have four grown children and six grandchildren.
Dan grew up in North Haledon, NJ, before attending college at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ, where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering. They moved to Winter Springs in 1982 and Dan has worked for more than 40 years in steam turbine engineering for Siemens Energy.
Dan and Dru joined IEPC in 1983, left for a time, and returned to our congregation in 2019.

DeaconDavid Clow has served as a deacon at Covenant for more than 20 years. He and his wife, Holly, have raised two daughters and have been attending Covenant since 1991.
David grew up in central Illinois. He earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University and serves on the staff of Cru.

Jason is a New Jersey native. He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and works as an RF engineer for Sprint.

DeaconReggie Spann has served as a deacon at Covenant since 2000. He and his wife, Cheryal have raised three daughters and have been attending Covenant since 1996.
Reggie is a native of Jacksonville. He earned a BS in Engineering from the University of Central Florida and is retired from the Marine Corps.

Rob McAdams
Worship LeaderRob McAdams has been the worship leader at Covenant since 2021. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have two children, Ena and Scott, and joined Covenant in 2019.
Rob grew up in Battle Creek, Michigan, and earned a BA in Biblical studies from Moody Bible Institute before also earning an MA in Theological Studies at RTS Orlando.
Rob is the Director of Operations at RTS Orlando.

Children's Ministry DirectorElizabeth McAdams has been serving as children’s ministry director at Covenant since 2019. She and her husband, Rob, began attending CPC that same year. They have one daughter.
Elizabeth comes to us via Lapeer, Michigan. She earned a bachelor of arts in comprehensive communications from Cedarville University in 2011 and also completed coursework at Reformed Theological Seminary in Oviedo. In addition to her role at Covenant, Elizabeth is a freelance copywriter specializing in tractors. She’s a nerdy board game enthusiast and enjoys frequent trips to Disney with her family.

Business ManagerSharon Leigh has been the business manager at Covenant since 1987. She and her husband, Dick, joined Covenant in 1972. They have raised two daughters together.
Sharon grew up in Lexington, NE, where she earned an associate of arts degree. In addition to her role at Covenant, Sharon is an accounting assistant and purchasing coordinator for The Geneva School in Winter Park.
